Some paintings are created. Others seem to reveal who they were meant to become.

Lemurian Goddess did not begin as a goddess. The original painting portrayed a young maiden, but after completing it, I continued to feel that something within her had not fully arrived. I was also troubled by the anatomy of her arms and returned to the canvas intending only to correct them.

What began as a small revision became a complete transformation.

Once I started painting, the work seemed to take over. I repainted virtually the entire canvas, preserving only a small area in the upper left-hand corner. Her face grew stronger and more mysterious. Her form began to emerge through veils of light, movement, and color. The maiden I had originally painted transformed into a goddess.

She no longer felt like someone I was portraying. She felt like a presence revealing herself—ancient, luminous, and remembered from another place and time.

When Lee Carroll, who channels Kryon, first saw the painting, he said:

“You painted the first Eden!”

Lee later showed the image to Dr. Amber Wolf, who selected Lemurian Goddess for the cover of her album, Sacred Songs of the Lemurian Sisterhood.

At its heart, this work speaks to the part of us that knows transformation is not about becoming someone else. It is about uncovering what has always been waiting beneath the surface.

This is a painting for the collector who is drawn to mystery, spiritual memory, feminine power, and the feeling that life contains dimensions beyond what can be seen.
